#101 Brittney Ezell: How to get others to buy in as a leader?

Welcome to the 4D Athletes podcast, where we dive deep into the lives and careers of exceptional athletes, coaches, and leaders. In today's episode, we are thrilled to have Dr. Brittney Ezell join us, a former Division I women's basketball coach with over two decades of leadership experience.

Brittney has recently transitioned to Elite Entertainment Experiences (E3) and Keller Williams Sports + Entertainment, where she is working to build out operations and infrastructure for this early-stage startup. We will learn more about her career in athletics, her current role at E3 and Keller Williams, and how her experiences have shaped her leadership style.

Brittney has an impressive track record as a coach, having turned around the basketball program at East Tennessee State University, guiding the team to play in two conference championships and achieving record-level season attendance. She also rebuilt the team culture, assembled a standout staff, and led the team to their first post-season tournament in eight years as head coach for Belmont University. Additionally, Brittney had the opportunity to coach professional athletes competing in the Caribbean Games tournament as an assistant coach for the National Team of the Bahamas.

Aside from her hands-on work, Brittney holds a doctorate degree in global sport leadership from East Tennessee State University and earned her bachelor's in business administration from the University of Alabama, where she was also a two-sport collegiate athlete and began her coaching career.

Brittney's current roles are equally impressive. She recently joined Elite Entertainment Experiences (E3), an early-stage startup that provides highly exclusive entertainment experiences and hospitality services for the elite consumer. She is working with the founder and long-time friend, Dr. Corey Gibbs, to build out the operations and infrastructure for this exciting new venture.

Brittney has also joined Keller Williams and Keller Williams Sports + Entertainment as CEO & Team Leader at Keller Williams - Johnson City. She brings a mindset of winning, commitment, collaboration, and connection to her position as she seeks to help her agents and their clients find win-win scenarios in every encounter, aligning with the Keller Williams' belief system.

It's been a pleasure to hear from Dr. Brittney Ezell about her impressive career in athletics and her current roles at E3 and Keller Williams. Her experiences as a coach have clearly shaped her leadership style, and we are excited to see what she will accomplish in her new endeavors.
